Using NetBeans RCP in standalone Swing applications

Continuing the series about NetBeans Rich Client Platform in standalone Swing applications: Today a new section: how to synchronously create children for NetBeans Nodes.

I know this is plumbing and not very useful to Swing developers yet, but we'll get there in a few extra sections, please be patient.
